ABOUT THE
DIET
The Blood Type diet was created by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo. The diet
is based on the idea that each of the four main blood types will
react differently to different food groups. The reason for this is
because each of the different blood types evolved differently and
therefore need different nutrition. Despite claims, there is no
scientific evidence to support this diet.
DIET
GUIDELINES
Blood type A developed as humans domesticated animals and
so, grains are said to be an important staple of their diet.
Blood type O is the hunter and requires meat in its diet.
Blood type B means it is best to consume dairy products.
EXERCISE
DURING THE DIET

ADVANTAGES
OF THE DIET
Like every other diet which restricts overall caloric intake, you
will lose weight in the short term. As well, of all the diets, the
Type "O" diet will probably work because of its restriction of
carbohydrates and increase in protein.
DISADVANTAGES OF THE
DIET
Aside from not being scientifically proven, the diet is not easy
to follow and especially difficult if you wanted to take part in
this diet with your loved one or some friends, as each blood type
has different guidelines, which will not make a shared experience
easy.
CONCLUSION
At this point in time, with no evidence to support the diet, it is
best to wait until further research indicates the true pros and
cons of this diet before starting it.
