Pharmaceutical Name: Testolactone
Chemical structure: 17 alpha-oxa-D-homo-1,4-androstadiene-3,17-dione
Molecular weight of base: 300.3968
Testolactone is a derivative of the normal sex steroids. However, teslac is not considered an anabolic-androgenic steroid. Teslac, like many other anti-estrognenic compounds is used in the treatment of breast cancer and other female estrogen related problems. Research is currently underway to suggest that teslac may be used in treatment for oligospermic men. These are men who have low sperm counts which in turn affects fertility. This evidence shows that teslac may act like HCG in helping to reverse testicular atrophy caused by cycling of other anabolic-androgenic steroids.
Teslac offers a range of anti-estrogenic benefits. Like proviron, cytradren and arimidex, teslac works as an aromatase inhibitor. Teslac is regarded as one of the best aromatase inhibitors up there with arimidex. It is very powerful for this use, if not the most popular choice among users.
As stated above, teslac is considered to have properties similar to HCG such as acting as a gonadotropin increasing compound. It is known to increase levels of testosterone and androstenedione in the body. Since it is an aromatase inhibitor, it does not increase levels of the estrogen derivates estrone or estradiol as HCG does.
While using teslac over HCG, testosterone increases would stay out for a little while longer. This is somewhat missing the point of HCG, since its primary purpose is in reversing testicular atrophy caused by a steroid cycle. For this express purpose, teslac is suited as well. Teslac is less suppressive of natural endrocrine production than HCG due to its strong anti-estrogenic and mild anti-androgenic properties. These anti-androgenic properties are able to reduce androgenic related side effects, but like all other compounds which have anti-androgenic compounds, gains may be hindered for the resulting lack of side effects. The user should determine what he or she is willing to risk before undertaking any steroid cycle. Teslac may be combined post cycle with clomid or nolvadex for a very good session of post cycle therapy.

It's a good enough product that is for sure, with a multitude of uses to the chemically enhanced bodybuilder. But as with my commentary on Human Growth Hormone, I'm not about to spend 3 times more money per day to augment my cycle than I do on my cycle alone, that just doesn't make sense. In this case, due to the anti-estrogenic effects, it may actually reduce the results from your cycle. So the price is and remains a major turn-off.

There are no major side effects from using teslac. It is mostly used in women so there are no androgenic risks - in fact it has some anti-androgenic properties. It is an anti-estrogen, so a lack of estrogenic side effects such as gyno are expected. Possible side effects include increased blood pressure, paresthesia (itching and pricking), pain in the arms and legs, loss of appetite, tongue infection, nausea and vomiting. Although the possibility of these side effects is real, their occurrence is rare.
STACKING AND USE
Teslac is normally used as an ancillary drug either on-cycle or as part of post cycle therapy. During cycle it can be used to suppress estrogen and reduce the possibility of estrogen related side effects, and post cycle it can be used to decrease testicular atrophy. Since it is an anti-aromatase, it is best stacked with an aromatizing hormone like testosterone or nandrolone to help reduce estrogen related side effects such as gyno. A dose of 500 mg daily of teslac alone would be used to block estrogen, or the user can opt for 200-250 mg of teslac in addition to 50 mg of proviron or 0.5 mg of arimidex for the same effect. Since the effect is generally similar, the course of action (either teslac alone or used in a stack) is up to the personal preference of the user.
In the post of using teslac for post cycle therapy, using 200-250 mg daily for about 3 weeks is adequate. The user would start with teslac about 1-1.5 weeks after the last injection, followed by the use of clomid or nolvadex about 2-2.5 weeks after that injection. Teslac is much less suppressive of natural testosterone than HCG, but in any case, its use should be terminated at least two weeks before standard therapy with clomid or nolvadex is completed.
Teslac may be used alone in a steroid cycle, but be aware that any aromatase inhibitor will inhibit gains from your steroid cycle to a certain extent. This is the cost that goes along with reduction in anabolic-androgenic related side effects. Aside from being an anti-estrogen, it has mild anti-androgenic properties as well which will compensate for reduced side effects by reducing gains as well.
